EmpowerRD’s Referral Program – Terms

1. Eligibility

  • This referral scheme is open to all individuals or entities (“Referrers” or “Referrer”) who introduce new clients (“Referred Clients or “Referred Client”) to EmpowerRD.
  • A “Referred Client” refers to an individual or business that has not previously engaged EmpowerRD for R&D tax credit services.

2. Selection of Referral Reward

  • The referral reward is chosen by the “Referrer” and not the “Referred client”.
  • The referral reward is selected using the applicable dropdown on the form located on page https://www.empowerrd.com/referral-scheme/.
  • Only 1 reward is available per referral.
  • Rewards are defined as:
    • Give a 10% discount
    • Receive a 10% commission
    • I don’t need anything just happy to share the love

3. Discount for Referred Clients

  • If selected by the “Referrer”, the “Referred Client” will receive a 10% discount on EmpowerRD’s fees for their first claim only, including claims where the minimum fee applies.
  • The discount will be applied to the invoice issued for the first claim completed for the “Referred Client”.
  • This discount must be explicitly outlined in the “Referred Client’s” service agreement with EmpowerRD.

4. Commission for Referrers – Non EmpowerRD Clients

  • If the “Referrer” has opted to receive a commission, they will receive a 10% commission of EmpowerRD’s fees earned from only the first claim completed for the “Referred Client”.
  • The commission will be paid once the “Referred Client’s” first claim is successfully awarded by HMRC.

5. Commission of Referrers – Existing EmpowerRD Clients

  • If a current EmpowerRD client refers a new potential client, the “Referrer” will be eligible for the 10% commission or they can offer the “Referred Client” a 10% discount.
  • They will not be eligible for a 10% discount on any of their existing services with EmpowerRD.
  • The 10% commission will be awarded to the referrer once the Referred Client’s first claim is successfully awarded by HMRC.

6. Additional Terms

  • Discounts and commissions apply only to the first claim completed for the “Referred Client”.
  • EmpowerRD reserves the right to verify the eligibility of “Referrers” and “Referred Clients” and to withhold or withdraw any discount or commission in cases of suspected fraud or misrepresentation.
  • EmpowerRD retains the discretion to amend or terminate the referral scheme at any time, provided prior notice is given to “Referrers”.
